Finally, business planning is simple!
RiotPlan’s consulting process makes it easier than ever to turn your ideas into language and numbers a banker or investor will understand.
1. The Initial Telephone Interview
After you contact us, we will set up a convenient time to speak about your business and your plans. This confidential, no obligation conversation will take place with one of our senior planning specialists, who will guide you by asking the right questions about your company and your intentions.
2. Finding A Little More Information
Once we’ve had a chance to sketch out the basics of your plan with you, we will send you an email to request a confirmation of certain details and to list any items of information we require from you to begin planning.
3. The First Draft
With your information in hand, we begin working on your plan and produce the first draft. This will then be sent to you electronically, as a PDF file, along with the the content of the plan in Word (or Pages for Mac if required). This may be the end of the process if you are entirely satisfied with the plan!
4. The Final Draft
If there are any revisions you require, or if your figures have changed during the process (which frequently happens) we will consult with you again and then produce a final draft of your business plan.
5. Further Revisions and Other Work
In very rare cases, the second draft is not enough, or clients are in the midst of complex high-level funding negotiations and need to have many revisions of their plan to change their investor offer or the plans for the business. We continue to offer services to our clients in these cases, but obviously we will have to quote on each of these revisions on a case by case basis.
Many of our clients are so happy with their plans that they return months later, when their business is moving along to request updates to their plan or other documents, such as client proposals or investor information sheets. We will quote on each of these requirements according to your needs.
